A hilltop village almost in the centre between Ibiza Town and San Antonio approx 8 kms to each. A small collection of shops, cafes and restaurants can be found on the high road.
Several ceramic workshops have awarded the village the title of “zona de interes artesanal “ or artisan zone. Perhaps the nicest part of the village is centred around the church which dates back to circa 1786. It is typically Ibizan with whitewashed walls approx 1 metre thick, which can be seen from miles around. The view from the churchyard to Dalt Vila and the sea is simply stunning. Perhaps the modern claim to fame for this area are the huge infamous clubs of “Privilege” and “Amnesia” which are on the main highway between Ibiza and San Antonio below the village.
